What should I wear to get a massage?
Your massage will be in a private suite within our clinic. Patients undress to their comfort level. Many patients chose to fully undress, or just leave their underwear on, and the massage therapist uses draping techniques with the sheet to maintain your privacy. Some patients chose to remain fully clothed, and the massage therapist can use massage techniques over clothing. This is your session, your body, and your choice.

What do I need to do in preparation for my massage?
Make sure you're well-hydrated starting a day before your massage. The day of your appointment, try to not eat or drink a lot within 2-3 hours before your appointment so that your body can focus on relaxing instead of digestion.
What are the benefits of massage therapy?
Massage therapy has numerous benefits in a lot of areas-- physical health, mental health, immune health, pain management, and athletic performance. The licensed massage therapist can will tailor the massage and techniques to match your goals.
Can I get a massage if I'm pregnant?
If you're pregnant, check with your primary care provider to clear you for receiving a massage. In most cases of uncomplicated pregnancy, massage therapy is safe. The licensed massage therapist may make some modifications to the session such as positioning -- either side laying, or using a massage pillow with space for the growing belly to lay face-down comfortably. if you're far enough along in pregnancy where laying on your back and stomach are not recommended. Also, we will avoid massaging the belly, and will either do light massage or skip the massage on the legs.
